Vacations are best enjoyed with loved ones be it your family, friends or spouses. Working 60 hours a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year can break down a person physically and psychologically. We all need that breath of fresh air, that gush of wind from the window pane, that early morning sunrise kissing your skin as you are in no hurry to head out.

A lot of people think it is expensive to achieve this. Vacations have never been more affordable. All you need is to plan ahead of time.

The island nation in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius is known for its vibrant culture and ethnicity. Mauritius’ beaches have great reputation all over the world for their surreal beauty and natural landscapes.

Mauritius boasts of thriving tourism, owing all to its tropical climate, fantastic beaches and blossoming flora fauna. The sparkling beaches offer a plethora of water activities and tranquil surroundings perfect to bask in the lap of nature. Sun-kissed beaches, cobalt-blue lagoons and a hotchpotch of English, Creole, and European cuisine can all be found on this blissful volcanic island. Touring the reefs on a semi-submersible and teeing up on pristine golf courses are high on the agenda here.

At first glance, Mauritius looks like a close relative of the Caribbean Islands.

But Mauritius has plenty more strings to its bow, too. Look beyond the beaches and you’ll find a trove of natural history. The 800-metre-high Mountains and forests in the interior are home to some of the world’s rarest animals. The island is also ring-fenced by one of the largest unbroken barrier reefs in the world, so the scuba diving opportunities are on a par with the Maldives.
